Honors: All Mid-Penn Conference Selection; Select 30 Elite All-American; runner-up National Player of the Week by Extra Inning Softball (week of April 5, 2022); and selected as top performer in Mid-Penn Conference (season to date).
Travel Ball Highlights/Fall Stats: Took 1st place in 18U Open in the Rockfest New England Showcase in Chester, NY, where she struck out 22 in 16 innings with one walk and gave up one earned run; she struck out 18 in 10 innings with one walk and one earned run at City of Lights Virginia Beach Showcase.
High School Highlights: 2021 — 126 strikeouts, 82 IP and 1.26 ERA; 2022 — 7-0, 47 IP, 65 Ks, 10 BB, 1.10 ERA, 1.0 WHIP and pitched three shutouts.
Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them?
My father is an owner of Frozen Ropes Baseball and Softball that has locations across the country. We have one located here in Hershey, PA.
I train year round at the facility and we have eight travel teams that compete from 12U to 18U. I have been playing for Frozen Ropes Hershey since 14U. Our teams compete in PA, MD, NJ and NY primarily. We play high level USA, USSSA and Showcase events.
Can you talk about your experience at Lower Dauphin High?
My freshman year, we were a young team and struggled to a 6-12 record. We had no seniors and two juniors and the rest were sophomores and freshmen. I still had a memorable season being the first freshman pitcher to get over 100 strikeouts since Ava Bottiglia in 2014 at Lower Dauphin.
This year, we are off to an incredible and very memorable start as we are 7-0 and first in our conference and the top-ranked team in PIAA District 3. This is Lower Dauphin’s best start since 2014. We are hungry and want to bring LD Softball back to what it was. I love my team and our energy on the bench and on the field. I have so much faith in my team no matter the situation.
What was the USSSA Select 30 camp like and what did you learn there?
Attending the USSSA Select 30 camp was a great experience. I met so many girls from all over and had so much fun competing with such high intensity. I learned from Pride players as well as coaches that play/played in college at a high level. We would have mental sessions as well as class sessions that included recruiting talks, mental training and more. We were scouted by coaches at the camp to see if we would make the Select 30 game that had 15 on each team. The camp was a great experience for me.
