Not yet, Oklahoma still plays High School fast pitch in the fall as this limits us to playing very few tournaments for the fall.

The Returners:

  • Kya Watson (2023, C/UT, an all-around athlete with dangerous power at the plate, great arm and one of the best receiving catchers around)
  • Ariah Mitchell (2024, 1B/OF, a very consistent bat with great power, very smart player on defense with a great glove)
  • Jaiden Coffey (2024, P/1B, a dominating pitcher in the circle with huge potential to keep getting better at a very fast rate and great stick with awesome power)
  • Lexi Meadows (2023, 2B/3B/OF, a speedy, smart player with a great glove on defense, very dangerous at the plate with her ability to stand in and hit, slap or drop a bunt down)
  • Allison Couch (2023, P/2B, an extremely accurate pitcher with great spin, good power at the plate and very smart, selective)
  • Maci George (2023, 3B/2B, fearless at the corner with amazing speed and a great glove, very heads up and smart player, very consistent and great pop at the plate)
  • Accalya “KK” King (2023, OF/C, a true athlete that you could put in any position, great arm and blazing speed make her one of the best center fielders out there, unmatched power at the plate)
  • Mari Scott (2024, OF/2B, a solid glove in the field with a good arm, at the plate she is one the toughest hitters to get as she never gives in, hits to all fields with a lot of pop)
  • Abby Wood (2023, OF/1B, a great first step in the outfield, just has that knack of being where the ball is and has an extremely accurate arm, line drives in the gaps are what she’s known for at the plate and is a very smart base runner)
  • Emiaj Self (2023, MI, so smooth on defense, great footwork and even better hands she is so fun to watch on defense, great inside out swing and can hit anything thrown at her)
  • Ava Mullins (2023, C/IF, an explosive player on both sides, great arm and energy behind the plate, swings with good power and very consistent)
  • Victoria Turner (2023, P/OF, a great mix of speed and spin in the circle with a great attitude, great speed makes her very tough on offense and defense)

The Newcomers:

  • Emma Wilson (2023 P/1B, she has great speed and command in the circle, has the ability to win up or down in the zone, solid bat with sneaky power at the plate)

What will it take for your team to be successful this season?
“We will have to play as team most of all,” Watson said. “Our offense is tough to beat with the ability to score runs in a hurry. On defense, we have to play clean and make the routine plays. Our pitching staff will have to control the game and trust the defense behind them. All in all if these girls come out with a game plan and stick to it, they will be tough to beat.”

Can you describe your pitching staff?
“I carry four pitchers on this squad with all of them being different,” Watson said. “I have two pitchers that pitch to contact and make hitters hit where they want them to hit the ball. My other two pitchers have the ability to strike anyone out at anytime, but all four pitchers have very different deliveries, different pitches and to be as effective as possible they must have control and confidence to throw any pitch at any time.”
