Travel Ball Fall Stats: .328 AVG, .627 SLG and 2 home runs.
High School Stats: .407 AVG, .796 SLG, 11 home runs and 50 RBIs.
Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? My previous travel ball coach retired and I decided the Birmingham Thunderbolts was the best place for me. I have been challenged and learned a lot with the Thunderbolts. I enjoy my teammates and coaches.
Tell us about your high school team and how you are doing? Our high school team is ranked #3 in Class 6A in the state of Alabama. School ball allows me play with friends I’ve grown up with.
Can you tell us about your experience at PGF Nationals last summer? The atmosphere and competition was excellent. My team placed 3rd after falling in the loser’s bracket.
What tournament/showcase/event are you looking forward to this summer and why? I am most looking forward to the PGF in California and IDT in Colorado. I feel like my team and I will be able to do great things this summer.
Which player/team was your toughest opponent and why? At this level of competition, everyone is tough and I want to beat them all.
What are you looking for in a future college? I’m looking for a college that competes in athletics and academics. I want to be a part of a team that wants to play tough and win.
What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? I am interested in either education or criminal psychology and forensics.
Who is your sports hero and why? Rocky Balboa. No explanation needed.
What’s the best hype song and why? “Hot” (by) Young Thug (ft.) Gunna (& Travis Scott). This has been my walk-up song for a few years now and it always gets everyone hype in the stands.
What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? My favorite series is “Criminal Minds” because I enjoy watching detectives solve crimes.
Do you have a secret talent/skill? I like to draw and paint in my free time. I am also rarely beaten at Ping Pong.
