MERRY FRIDAY THE 13TH
TLI hopes everyone is having a Happy Holiday season … even on #FridayThe13th. Yikes, not the Santa we remember from our childhood…

FROSH WATCH
TLI wanted to check in with one of our favorite players — former Gahr High/So Cal Athletics-Richardson standout Jazmine Hill — and see how her freshman year was going at Arizona State.
How has your first year gone at the mid-way point?
“My freshmen year has been great so far,” the So Cal-native said. “This preseason I learned a lot both offensively and defensively, the coaching staff is amazing and has taught me a lot. Even though Coach (Trisha) Ford is tough, she is fair. She takes care of all of us on and off the field. My teammates and I all get along well and like to have fun in whatever we are doing while still taking care of business.”
So is college life living up to what she had envisioned?
“It is living up to what I envisioned,” Hill said. “Coming into ASU I knew it was going to be challenging and competitive. For example, I would hit a ball to the pitcher and my teammate, whom I am battling for a spot with, comes behind me and hits it out … shows how hard I have to push myself and work even harder.”
