What will it take for your team to be successful this season? In order to be successful this season, the team will need to continue working as a cohesive unit, setting aside self. Sacrifice and a team-first mentality result in the best opportunity for the team to win games and continue through (the) playoffs.
Who is your No. 1 pitcher and what can you tell me about her skills? Who else could see some time in the circle? Aynslie Furbush enters the season with the opportunity to establish a new school (record). Megan Hagge will also be counted on to carry half the pitching load.
What can we expect from your offense? The team returns 20-plus home runs, including transfer Taylor Krapf. We will be quick at the top and the bottom of the order and will need to figure out a way to get them on base in front of the bombers.
Did you pick up any impact transfers or did you lose any players to transfers? Taylor Krapf transferred from Hagerty High (of Oviedo, FL) and should make an immediate impact behind the dish. Krapf is a D-1 commit to Duke University.
Who are the potential All-Section/All-District/All-State players on your team? WSHS has numerous athletes who can possibly win awards; these include Gaton, Furbush, Krapf, Corazzini, Roniece Pharoah, and Makayla Layton.
Signed and committed players: Aynslie Furbush, Ole Miss; Kennedi Gaton, Troy; Roniece Pharaoh, Eastern Florida OF; and Taylor Krapf, Duke.
