IN 18U WINNER’S BRACKET FIFTH ROUND GAMES:

Hotshots Premier-Dumezich 9, Tampa Mustangs-TJ 4: Baylor-commit Kaci West went 3 for 4 with a homer and five RBIs to help the #33 Hotshots knock off the #4 Mustangs
Corona Angels-Tyson 3, So Cal Athletics-Richardson 2: Iowa State-commit Angelina Allen drove in Louisville-commit Korbe Otis with a ground out to first in the top of the seventh and the #12 Corona Angels held on to beat the #5 So Cal A’s.
Birmingham Thunderbolts Premier 2, Prospex Gold 0: Alabama-bound Jaala Torrence pitched a two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts in seven innings to propel the #6 Thunderbolts.
Nebraska Thunder Gold 1, OC Batbusters-Stith 0: Oklahoma-commit Jordyn Bahl tossed a two-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts in seven innings to lead Nebraska past the #2 Batbusters.
IN 18U WINNER’S BRACKET SIXTH ROUND GAMES:
Hotshots Premier-Dumezich 4, Corona Angels-Tyson 1: Notre Dame-commit Emily Tran went 2 for 4 with a double and two runs scored, Louisiana Lafayette-commit Kayla Falterman went 3 for 4 with a double and a run scored and Louisiana Lafayette-commit Alex Langeliers went 1 for 2 with a double, a run scored and two RBIs as the #33 Hotshots took down the #12 Angels.
Birmingham Thunderbolts Premier 4, Nebraska Thunder Gold 2: Michigan-commit Annabelle Widra went 3 for 4 with two RBIs and Auburn-commit Aubrie Lisenby went 1 for 4 with a homer, two runs scored and an RBI to help the #6 Bolts defeat Nebraska Thunder.
IN A 18U WINNER’S BRACKET SEVENTH ROUND GAME:
Birmingham Thunderbolts Premier 5, Hotshots Premier-Dumezich 3: Nelia Peralta had an RBI single, Brooke Burback had an RBI single and Kamryn Warman had a two-run homer during a five-run rally in the top of the sixth that gave the #6 Thunderbolts the victory over the #33 Hotchots.
The Bolts advanced to Saturday’s championship game at 12 p.m.
The Hotshots will play the #12 Corona Angels-Tyson vs. Nebraska Thunder Gold winner on Saturday at 10 a.m. for the other spot in the finals.
