Track & Field; and 4.0 GPA/4.22 GPA weighted.

Travel Ball Spring/Summer Stats/Highlights (2022): Leads the team in doubles and runs scored; .402 AVG, .439 OBP and 1.109 OPS.
High School Highlights (2021): Broke the previous single-season hits record as a freshman; .403 AVG, .464 OBP and .951 OPS.
Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? I joined the Atlanta Vipers 07-Tamborra team in fall 2017. Prior to that, I was playing on an 06 team and I wanted to transition to play with my age group. I was invited to a private workout with Coach Stacy (Tamborra) and Coach Rob (Gillis), and the rest is history.

What do you bring to the team? Offensive leadership with my bat, speed on the bases and defense and defensive versatility in that I primarily play 1B, but I can also play any outfield position.
What area were you focusing on/trying to improve this summer? Mental game (and) my approach in the batter’s box.
What is something you have faced in your life that has helped you become the person that you are today? In 2018, my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. That year, we played in Oklahoma City and it was my first time attending the WCWS. My grandma came to Oklahoma City with us and I was so lucky to be able to experience it with her. I knew there wouldn’t be many opportunities for her to see me play and I learned to cherish these moments.
Can you talk about PGF Nationals and what you hope to accomplish at the event? We are going to play against the top teams in the nation and, as a team, we would like to do as well as or better than our Top 10 finish last year. Personally, I want to compete every pitch and stay in the
moment to help my team succeed.
What are you looking for in a future university? It is my goal to play Division 1 softball for a university that will compete each year to win a national championship. I played in OKC in 2020 as a part of the USA All-American games and it is my goal play there again and compete in the WCWS for a national championship. I also want to find a school and coaching staff that cares about me as a person, not just a softball player.

Who is your sports hero and why? David Wright — I am a NY Mets fan. David Wright holds all the characteristics that are important to me — loyalty to a team, hardworking, technical skills/talent, family and positive mental attitude when working through adversities (his injuries).
What’s your most memorable softball story? Winning a national championship at the 10U USA Elite Select Futures WFC. This was my first season with the Vipers and I loved everything about the tournament in Space Coast, FL. The championship game was played in the stadium and it was so cool to see my family and my teammates’ families sitting in the stands. I still go back and watch the game!
