IMPACT GOLD 2K9 NATIONAL CAPTURES PGF SUPER SELECT 12U CHAMPIONSHIP
Impact Gold 2K9 National went 9-0-1 for the weekend and went 7-0 in bracket plat, beating Athletics Mercado 2027-Bustamante, 2-1, in the championship game of the PGF Super Select 12U championships on Sunday in Columbia, TN.
Impact Gold 2K9 National defeated Shamrocks 09, 9-0, NC Heartbreakers 09, 10-0, Beverly Bandits Premier 09-Mercurio, 9-1, Indiana Shockwaves 09, 5-0, Alabama Thunderbolts 2027, 3-1, and TN Mojo 09-Kilgore, 5-0, in other bracket play games on Saturday and Sunday.
P Macie Bryant, #6 in the 2027 Extra Elite 100, threw a no-hitter in the semifinals and she got the win in the finals.
Impact Gold 2K9 in 66-7 in the spring.

NEWS & NOTES
***2025 C/UT Preslee Ray of Epic 16U-Ray was invited to the USA Softball High-Performance Program (HPP) national selection event this November in Texas.
“The USA HPP gives girls from around the country the opportunity to compete against each other representing their region and age division,” Ray said.
“Then you have the chance to be selected to the national team! The evaluations are done by members of Team USA. So when I asked my parents to tryout, I went to get evaluated and get pointers from the best in the nation. I’m always wanting to learn something new and I like to look at things through different perspectives. If I made it to the next round, that was a bonus.”
“I get to go to another evaluation in November, including scrimmages. So I’m really eager to get more pointers from the best. But If I can go the distance and make the national team … how amazing would that be?”
“I would get to serve something bigger myself and team alone. I’d play for my country. That is huge! My country is everything and I would be honored to represent it in anyway possible.”
