TEXAS BOMBERS GOLD CTX

Extra Elite Eighty 14U Club Ranking: T-53
2019 Fall Record: 14-5 with quality wins over Athletics-Mercado/Bonola 16U National, 1-0, Aces Express 16U National, 3-2, and lost to Texas Glory Naudin 16U, 4-3, on a walk-off in the bottom of the seventh.
2019 Summer Record: 22-7-1
Top Finishes: Third place at USA Elite Select World Fastpitch Championships

Returners:

  • Dezirae “Dezi” Lopez (2024, 2B/OF, a lock down 2B with some of the fastest hands in her class, allowing her to turn a double play on any hitter. She brings good power and speed to the offense)
  • Jasmine “J” Benavidez (2024, SS/OF, an amazing SS with a tremendous amount of range and great speed, allowing her play deep against power hitters or up against slappers. She brings big pop in her small frame to the plate)
  • London Collins (2025, OF, explosive speed combined with remarkable power. Her speed allows her to cover a tremendous amount of ground in the outfield and she has a big arm to compliment her speed)
  • Trinity “Tofu” Silguero (2024, 3B, a shutdown 3B with a high softball IQ for the game. She brings power and consistency to the plate)
  • Mikala Ham (2024, P/1B, a power pitcher with pinpoint accuracy on all five of her pitches and she can dominate any game in the circle. Also has good power at the plate)
  • Jewlz Cartagena (2024, C/UT, the prime example of a “utility player.” She can step into any position as if it was her primary position. She swings a big bat with her small frame)
  • Aniyah Pequeno (2024, OF, a speedy slapper with power that can get it passed a defense playing up. Aniyah’s speed and reading of the ball off the bat makes her an elite outfielder)
  • Gracie Alejo (2024, C/1B, a wall as a catcher with a big arm that allows her to throw out runners consistently. She swings a big bat with lots of power)
  • Melania “Mel” Reeves (2024, OF/IF, an electric outfielder with amazing speed and strong arm. She is one of the top slappers in the ’06 class and was successful in 96 percent of her stolen bases)
  • Ava Serna (2024, 1B/IF, a consistent power hitter and will hit a lot of RBIs. She has extremely soft hands allowing her to play 1B, 2B and SS)
  • Abriana “Abi” Coy (2024, P/1B, one of the most feared power hitters in the ’06 class. If runners are on base, there’s a big chance that she will be bringing them in. She can also take control of the circle with a variety of off-speed pitches and her fastball)
Brooke Wells

Newcomer:

  • Brooke Wells (2024, P/3B/1B, #86 in 2024 Extra Elite 100, #35 pitcher in Class of 2024, an excellent addition to the team, she comes to the Bombers off a highly successful season with a team that placed third at PGF. She’s a dominant pitcher, power hitter and a leader on the field)

What will it take for your team to be successful this year?
We have to play very consistent defense and apply a tremendous amount of pressure to the older teams when we get on the base paths. Timely hitting will result in a lot of big wins for us this season.
