12U CLUB SCOUTING REPORT
Extra Inning Softball began releasing the Extra Elite Eighty 12U Club Rankings on Monday, April 27, 2020, so we’ll continue to take a look at some of the top teams in the nation.
So let’s take a look at Kim Ensey‘s team …
SO CAL CHOPPERS-ENSEY
Extra Elite Eighty Ranking: #68
2019 Fall Record: 27-12-1, including a 3-3 record at 14U and a win over So Cal Choppers-Melton to qualify for 2020 PGF Nationals
Returners:
- Katie Torrez (2025, MIF/OF, a lead-off hitter, a great bunter who leads team with infield hits and steals)
- Naya Taylor (2025, C/1B/3B, a big bat with a strong arm)
- Emory Cheng (2025, P/OF, a strong pitcher and a big bat that hits for average. She won PGF berth game)
- Neveah Gomez (2025, P/1B, a big bat, lots of power and lights up radar)
- Emma Hannifin (2025, IF, a great glove, hits for power, great attitude and a spark plug that gets the team going)
- Hannah Stolba (2026, OF, young, but has a big heart and puts the work in)
- Leila Leal (2025, 1B/2B, a huge bat with lots of power)
- Maya Leal (2026, 3B/OF, a big bat like her sister)
- Kimberly Jimenez (2026, OF, a free swinger with a great attitude)
- Jaelene Baustista (2025, OF, a lefty slapper that hits for average)
- Vivianna Espinoza (2025, C/3B, a great glove at both positions and constantly improving on hitting)
- Daveigh Gonzales (2025, 2B/OF, stepped up in OF when needed. Works hard on hitting)
- Abigayle Glasscock (2025, C/OF, great behind the plate, both receiving and blocking)

- Aryana Munoz (2026, 3B/2B/OF, a great glove, soft hands and hits for average)
- Mia Gonzalez (2025, P/3B/SS, a big bat and big arm. She has been clocked as high as 61 mph and constantly at 58 mph)
What will it take for your team to be successful this year?
For us to be successful this year would be to pick up key players and Mia fills that void that we were looking for. Great attitude from the girls and players understanding their roles.
