Recruiting Tips from Coach Macera

Thomas Macera, the esteemed head coach of Valdosta State University‘s softball team, has established an unparalleled legacy in NCAA Division II softball. In 2024, he achieved a monumental milestone by securing his 1,000th career win, making him the fastest coach in NCAA softball history to reach this landmark. Under his guidance since 2006, the Blazers clinched the 2012 NCAA Division II National Championship and have consistently been a dominant force in the Gulf South Conference.
