The following press release was sent out yesterday (Friday, June 23) by the Oklahoma State Sports Information Department.
Oklahoma State softball coach Kenny Gajewski announced the signing of Macy Graf.
A native of Aledo, Texas, Graf started 30 games and played in 40 as a freshman at Mississippi State in 2023, batting .291 with a .450 on base percentage and a .407 slugging percentage. Primarily an infielder for the Bulldogs, Graf reached base in 30 games and was fifth on the team in runs scored.
As a high school player, Graf was ranked as a top-50 national recruit by Extra Innings Softball and was a Top 5 infielder in the national class.
She was a two-time all-state honoree and led Aledo HS to a Class 5A area title and two state runner-up finishes. She was also a member of the Aledo Anglers, her high school’s fishing team, and has played baseball, indoor field hockey, football, soccer, basketball, volleyball and ran track, where she won the 200m district title as a junior.
Graf played travel ball with the Texas Glory, which has sent several players to Oklahoma State over the years, including current Cowgirls Haidyn Sokoloski and Audrey Schneidmiller.

T-43—Macy Graf, IF/OF, Texas Glory (Mississippi State)
Macy is a super aggressive triple threat at the plate who can drop bombs, lay down bunts and beat out slap hits. She can play every infield and outfield position well and Coach Kevin Shelton says of her defense: “Macy is one of the best third basemen I have ever seen. She has off-the-charts efficiency in getting rid of the ball on target.” She earned 5A All-State honors this year and was 1st Team Dallas/Fort Worth All-Metro Plex as she helped lead Aledo (Texas) High to the Texas 5A State Championship Game. Macy was All-Tournament and her .372 batting average with seven home runs, seven doubles, 13 steals and an incredible 34 walks (helped her have a .538 on-base percentage) helped her earn Extra Inning Softball All-Summer Team (16U) honors.
