One of the benefits of the Select 30 National Training Camp which is running this weekend in Viera, Florida, is the softball star-power that the participants get to be around and learn from.
On Saturday, the athletes from 33 different states got to hear from former Oklahoma All-American and NCAA home run record-holder Lauren Chamberlain and work with several USSSA Pride players including Kirsti Merritt, who explains in this video why the testing component of the Select 30 is so important.
