Welcome to Wisdom Wednesday, the weekly digital series from Extra Inning Softball that brings clarity, experience, and real-life insight to the game we all love. Designed for players, parents, and coaches alike, this series delivers on-the-go content from softball’s most trusted voices.
This week, we dive into one of the sport’s most debated summer traditions: the Colorado circuit. For years, it’s been hailed as the Mecca of fastpitch recruiting and national competition—but is that still true today?
In this candid feature, we explore what makes Colorado a bucket-list event for many—and what’s changed. From overbooked schedules and rising costs to powerhouse matchups and unforgettable memories, Wisdom Wednesday takes a hard look at both sides of the story.
If you’ve ever wondered whether Colorado is still the summer gold standard, watch below. This one’s for you.
