In Week 1 of our release of the top half of the 2023 Extra Elite 100 honorees, we listed a multi-talented pitcher/hitter in Macy Langley who plays for Stacy Tamborra’s Atlanta Vipers 05 team, a first year 14U squad.
Macy is among the top power hitters in her class thanks to her fast hands and above average power. She led the Vipers in the fall in batting average (.424), extra base hits and was second in home runs.
She has had great success against some of the nation’s best pitchers and when she in in the circle throws in the upper 50’s and has a devastating drop ball.
Macy put on an awesome hitting display at the University of Alabama hitting camp in February and has also attended the Auburn and Mercer softball camps.

1. What do you see as your greatest asset/role on the Vipers team?
I feel like I am a great teammate, a leader, I’m very supportive, and bring a great amount or powerful at bats to our line-up.
2. What motivates you to play softball? (What is your “Why?”)
I love the memories that I make with my teammates, challenging myself to be better, and working as part of a team to be great.
