Intro:
Scout is a dominating two-sport athlete (softball and track) and on the field isn’t just state-meet fast, she also has impressive power. She was a 2021 Extra Elite 100 honoree last year and ranked as one of the Top 20 outfielders in her class.
The junior is a triple threat from the right side and has a consistent 2.6 home-to-first time. She gains speed after crossing first base and is a long strider due to her track training.
Scout holds the 200-meters record at her high school with a time of 24.85. For the past few years, she has consistently hit for power and average as well as had double digits in home runs hitting against some of the best pitching in the country. Scout has the speed to routinely turn singles into doubles and triples.
Defensively she has gap-to-gap range in centerfield where she turns doubles into singles, triples into doubles, and catches balls that most outfielders would never get to.
Summary of Softball Accomplishments:
As a Junior, Scout was named 1st Team All-State, 1st Team All Region, 1st Team All-Area, All-Region Gold Glove Recipient, All-Area Outfielder of The Year.
She finished her 2019 high school season this past fall with these numbers:

Scout hit .500 with a home run in the Georgia High School Association State Championship Tournament. Her team finished 5th in the State. She Hit .857 in the Regional Championship series (two games) going 6-7 with a home run, two RBIs, two stolen bases, two doubles and six runs scored as the team won Region.
She played in three 2019 fall tournaments with her travel team, Birmingham Thunderbolts-03, and hit .423 with two home runs and two doubles.

Summary of Track Accomplishments:
This past track season (2019), Scout won Region in the 200-meters and the 400-meters. She qualified for state in all four of her events: 200, 400, 4 x 1 relay, and 4×4 relay. As a junior, she finished in the Top 10 in the 200-meters in one of the fastest classifications (5A) in Georgia. She also finished in the Top 16 in the 400-meters.

- 2019 broke high school’s 200-meters record (25.85)
- 2019 won Region in 200-meters and 400-meters
- 2019 went to State in 200, 400, 4×1 relay and 4×4 relay
- 2018 won Region in 400-meters

Recruiting:
Prior to committing to Southern Miss, she had multiple offers from the Big 10, Big 12, ACC and was being heavily recruited by multiple schools in the SEC.
