2025 Extra Elite 100 Player Rankings Begin in Less Than Two Weeks!

Just a gentle reminder from the staff at Extra Inning Softball that the launch of the 2025 Extra Elite 100 player rankings– the latest installment of the prestigious Extra Elite 100 series and the first time that players in this class has been evaluated and ranked–is less than two weeks away.

And the Monday, May 11, 2020 deadline (5 pm EST) to submit information is fast approaching!

The Class of 2025 extensive coverage begins Monday, May 18, 2020 and for the following three weeks will include:

• the 2025 Extra Elite 100 ranked prospects with bios and photos,
• the players ranked #’s 101-300,
• a spotlight on the top player in the class,
• position rankings (pitchers, catchers, infielders, outfielders)

The rankings are led by Brentt Eads, Extra Inning Softball’s President & Executive Editor, along with the Extra Inning Softball staff with input from more than 200 college and club scouts and coaches.

Eads, who originated the top 100 rankings lists used in softball, will now have ranked more than a decade of grad classes (2014 to 2025).

• Mon., June 1, 2020: 2025 Extra Elite 100 #1 Player Spotlight
• Tues., June 2, 2020: #’s 101-200

Submitting information:

If you would like to submit a player to be nominated, send us the following (as applicable):

• player name
• position(s)
• home city/state
• school w/ city/state
• club team,
• stats
• honors
• individual and team accomplishments
• events attended such as camps
• human interest insights (anything interesting, unusual or different in player background)
• a head shot / if available, a good action photo also
• strongly encouraged: a coach recommendation/evaluation (if info being sent is not from the player’s club or high school coach)
