We are a country that ranks things. That’s just who we are.
From politics to shopping to sports, we all rank items and people. Buying a new car? Yep, you rank them. Going out to eat? Yes, you rank that as well.
All the professional drafts rank players and college coaches rank players when it comes time for recruiting.
Softball is no different and we at Extra Inning Softball are proud to provide rankings for high school players across the country. Arguments can arise based on where a player is ranked, but the reality is the rankings provide a platform to recognize the outstanding achievements of the player.
EIS provides rankings for the players. A simple way to shine a spotlight on their career.
And we know they appreciate being ranked because they tell us. We want to thank all the players who have taken to social media to express their appreciation for appearing in our rankings.
