Bombers Gold 16U – FL Banister has quickly become one of the most competitive and respected 16U teams in the Southeast. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and affiliated with the Bombers Fastpitch Academy, this youth program combines old-school toughness, high-IQ softball, and an unmatched team culture that has produced success at every level of competition.
Led by Head Coach Samantha Banister, a 2x national champion under Hall of Fame coach Mike Candrea at Arizona, and Associate Head Coach Tommy Collaro, a former minor leaguer in the White Sox organization, the team focuses on three key values: high-level fundamentals, unselfish team play, and an unwavering belief in doing things the right way.
