Breaking News: 2024 Extra Elite 100 Player Rankings to Begin Sept. 9, 2019!

Extra Inning Softball announced today the dates of publication for the list of the top 100 players in the Class of 2024 as part of the next installment in the prestigious Extra Elite 100 series.

The list, including player bios and photos, will start Monday, September 9, 2019 and wrap up with the #1 overall prospect to be announced on Friday, September 20, 2019.

This follows the previous Extra Elite 100 rankings published over the last year for the Classes of 2018, ’19, ’20, ’21, ’22 and ‘23. The updated 2022 Extra Elite 100 rankings were the most recently published (May, 2019).

Coming next: in September/October 2019 the revised 2020 Extra Elite 100 will be revealed prior to the signing of these players to their college letters-of-intent.

As always, it won’t just be the 2024 Extra Elite 100 who are honored: the prospect rankings will go 300-deep and feature the athletes who have been evaluated in person and those who have been recommended by more than 200 club and college scouts/coaches.

The three weeks of spotlighting top players will be led by Brentt Eads, Extra Inning Softball’s President & Executive Editor. Eads originated the top 100 rankings lists used in softball and will now have ranked 11 years of graduation classes (2014 to 2024).

These initial 2024 ratings will have the most extensive and thorough player bios available along with head shots of every player.

• Tues., September 10, 2019: #’s 90-81
• Wed., September 11, 2019: #’s 80-71
• Thu., September 12, 2019: #’s 70-61
• Fri., September 13, 2019: #’s 60-51

• Mon., September 16, 2019: #’s 50-41
• Tues., September 17, 2019: #’s 40-31
• Wed., September 18, 2019: #’s 30-21
• Thu., September 19, 2019: #’s 20-11
• Fri., September 20, 2019: #’s 10-1

• Mon., September 23, 2019: Extra Elite 100 #1 Player Spotlight
• Tues., September 24, 2019: #’s 101-200
• Wed., September 25, 2019: #’s 201-300

If you would like to submit a nomination, include any or all of the following: player name and club team, player stats, honors, individual and team accomplishments, college information if applicable (campus visits, camps, favorite colleges, etc.), human interest insights, a head shot and, if available, a good action photo.
