College Weekend Previews: Six Huge Matchups to Watch in Week 13

For many teams, Week 13 carries with it the final tune-up before conference tournament.

A handful of conferences that don’t sponsor tournaments have an extra week of play to come next week, but for a lot of teams nationally, this week marks the final opportunity to get ready to challenge for a postseason berth.

Including some matchups that will decide their respective conference’s regular-season champion, here are some of the top matchups to watch in week 13.

Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State

Bedlam will decide the Big 12 crown, and the weekend set is sure to be a showdown between the archrivals.

The Sooners have been as good as advertised, holding down the #1 spot in our power rankings for weeks at a time, while the Cowgirls of Oklahoma State have picked up some big wins and have been even better than advertised.

Senior transfer Samantha Show has made headlines for her bat flipping (see below), but has been of great quality in the circle and at the plate for the Cowgirls this year, while the Sooners have gotten production from all corners of their batting order and pitching staff.
