You know someone’s a pretty darn good worker when they join a company and, two years later, become the CEO.
That’s the case at Extra Inning Softball… with a bit of a twist.

The “new” CEO is Bonnie Eads, who, yes, has ties to the Founder, President and Managing Editor of Extra Inning—Brentt Eads (me) as she’s my lovely wife!
Now, before thoughts of “nepotism” come to mind (OK, too late), understand this:
Bonnie has earned her rise to the top as THE hardest working—and most organized—person I’ve ever known—and I’ve worked at and with major companies including ESPN, Nike, Sports Illustrated and many, many more.
Want proof?
Up until she took over the CEO role with EIS a few weeks ago, Bonnie was working three jobs—including two companies she started as well as part-time with Extra Inning—AND going to school full-time to get her master’s degree which she’ll complete in early 2023!
In the meantime, she will be helping grow Extra Inning Softball, which she’s already done since coming on board part-time in 2020.

The Idaho native—we live in the Boise area, in case you were wondering—will be overseeing more of the business side, everything from project development to finance—while freeing the editorial side folks like me, Justin McLeod and Carlos Arias, to provide more content, including podcasts which will be coming early next year.
You may have already interacted with my wife of five-plus years as she’s done a great job in areas such as customer service, helping subscribers who had questions or issues.
And it must certainly be mentioned that Bonnie has raised four beautiful and successful children in Abbey, Olivia, Jonny and Joseph (and, along with my five of Brittany, Courtney, Emily, Kailen and Ashton, we could field our own softball team!). And she’s a heck of a great cook, is funny, smart and accomplished. Yep, she’s a 5-Star recruit alright.
So please welcome Bonnie to Extra Inning Softball as she’s now full-time and will help take us to another level; I know she’s already whipping my butt into shape, literally and figuratively! Lol!
She can be reached at her e-mail of bonnie.eads@extrainningsoftball.com and it wouldn’t hurt if you drop her a note saying how wonderful her husband is… hey, I can use all the brownie points I can get with the new boss!
