Many of the top club teams in the Southeast went to the SEFL Fall Championships Dec. 2-4 in Clearwater, FL. Check out some of Sunday’s highlights:
EC BULLETS GOLD-SCHNUTE CLAIM 18U TITLE
EC Bullets Gold-Schnute went unbeaten in seven games and beat Louisville Lady Sluggers-Huecker, 3-2, in the 18U final on Sunday in the SEFL Fall Championships on Sunday in Clearwater, FL.
North Carolina-bound 1B Erin Parker had four total hits, 6 RBIs and two home runs, including a two-run game-winning home run in the championship game, Troy-bound IF Jillian Williams batted over .300 average with two doubles and one RBI and uncommitted 2024 IF Jaci Underwood had a .455 OBP with three hits and two walks to lead the Bullets for the tournament.
The pitching staff allowed zero earned runs in 28 innings pitched. Uncommitted 2024 RHP Kendall Frost pitching 14 innings with 14 Ks and 2 walks with 2 complete games, including the championship win. Coastal Carolina-bound RHP Abby Henderson and Army-bound RHP Katelyn Flanders each pitched 7-inning complete-game shutouts, allowing only six hits in 14 innings, for the Bullets.
The Bullets earned a berth into this summer’s Alliance Nationals with the victory.
LADY SLUGGERS OUTSLUG TAMPA MUSTANGS-BELL IN 16U FINAL
2026 C/OF Hadley Borders went 4 for 4 with two runs and two RBIs, 2025 RHP/SS/UT Tori Payne went 2 for 3 with a run and an RBI and 2025 MIF/3B/OF Jacie Rice went 2 for 3 with a run and three RBIs as Louisville Lady Sluggers 07-Wathen defeated Tampa Mustangs-Bell, 11-4, in the 16U championship game in the SEFL Fall Championships on Sunday in Clearwater, FL.
Borders (.750 AVG, 12 Hits, 3 doubles, 6 runs, 6 RBIs, 4 BBs), 2026 UT McLaine Hudson (.647 AVG, 11 hits, 3 doubles, 7 runs, 4 RBIs, 4 SBs, 2 BBs), 2026 MIF/OF Karrington Hunt (.500 AVG, 2 doubles, 6 hits) and 2026 RHP/1B/3B Layla Ogden (.412 AVG, 9 RBIs, 4 BBs, 1 HR) led the Lady Sluggers for the tournament.
The Lady Sluggers pitching featured Ogden (4-0, 2.86 ERA, 14.2 IP, 15 Ks, 2 BBs) and 2025 LHP/1B Abigail Byrd (1-0, 3.59 ERA, 13.2 IP, 22 Ks, 2 BBs).
The Lady Sluggers punched their ticket to this summer’s Alliance Nationals by winning the tournament.
AP GOLD 08-BAILEY WON THE 14U TITLE
2026 1B Kennedy Ushery (2 for 3 with a walk and an RBI), 2026 C Sophie Arnold (2 for 3, double, RBI), 2026 2B Haley Johnson (2 RBIs), 2027 OF Aniyah Griffen (double, RBI, 2 runs, BB), 2026 C/1B Taylor Dembowski (RBI, .500 OBP) and 2027 C/3B Keren Leal (2 RBIs) led AP Gold 08-Bailey to an 8-1 win over Tampa Mustangs 2026/2027-Bell in the 14U final of the SEFL Fall Championships on Sunday in Clearwater, FL.
2026 P Nya Langias (0.00 ERA, 11 IP, 4 hits, 11 K’s, .364 WHIP), Ushery (.667 AVG, 750 OBP, 7 RBIs, 3 doubles, 1 HR), Griffen (.455 AVG, 571 OBP, 5 hits, 4 doubles, 4 runs, 2 SBs), 2026 MIF Mary Faulkner (.500 AVG, 600 OBP, 4 hits, 1 triple), 2027 OF Julia Dillard (.400 OBP, 5 SBs) and 2026 RHP Emma Nix (15.2 IP, 16 Ks) led AP Gold for the tournament.
AP Gold beat Tampa Mustangs-Quinlan, 10-2, Mojo 08-Lunsford, 5-3, Tampa Mustangs 2026/2027-Bell, 3-2, and Tampa Mustangs 2026/2027-Bell, 8-1, in bracket play.
