With 96.39% of voters choosing “Finish the inning” over the 3.61% who favored “Drop dead time,” the results speak loudly. For players, coaches, and families invested in development over convenience, ending a game mid-inning simply doesn’t make the cut.
This poll sparked reflection across the softball world—including Extra Impact Ambassador Emma Kerr, who weighed in with a powerful perspective on why letting the game play out isn’t just better—it’s essential.
