Empowering Change: 2027 D’Neya Dennis, Ambassador, and Her Advocacy in Softball
As part of our ambassador program, D’Neya Dennis and other participants were encouraged to write an article to be featured on our website. Throughout the program, we focused on our core values: empowering, inspiring, and supporting the softball community. To embody this mission, the ambassadors were tasked with selecting an advocacy topic they felt passionate about. D’Neya Dennis chose to focus on breaking stereotypes in softball, particularly those around race and athleticism.
She was encouraged to dive deep into her chosen subject by interviewing experts, conducting research, and speaking with softball players to gain valuable insights. This project allowed the ambassadors to raise awareness, spark meaningful conversations, and discover ways to support individuals within their chosen area of focus—showcasing their dedication to making a positive impact in the softball world.
