Event News: Easton Announced as Title Sponsor for 2020 Top Gun Invitational

Top Gun Events, based in Shawnee, Kansas and one of the top event producers of club fastpitch tournaments in the nation, announced on Friday that it has reached an agreement with Easton Diamond Sports to have it be the title sponsor of the 2020 Top Gun Invitational.

As part of the agreement, Easton will provide prize packages worth $5,000 to the champions of the 12U-through-18U Maverick competition divisions.

This year’s Invitational is scheduled for June 11-14, 2020 in the greater Kansas City Metro area.  In 2019, nearly 220 teams participated in the four-day event from 14 states.

“I created Top Gun Events and the Top Gun Invitational in 2013 to bring together the best competition for teams to showcase their talents,” said Robb Behymer, founder of Top Gun Events.

“To have Easton recognize that the Top Gun Invitational is an event they want to put their name on further proves that we created a high quality, elite level tournament that the best teams and athletes in the country want to play in. I look forward to seeing where this partnership will take us.”

Easton is a leading manufacturer of baseball and softball equipment known for its breakthrough technologies with aluminum and composite materials.

The 2020 Top Gun Invitational has closed the application date for team entries and on December 13, will announce all the teams that have been chosen to play.
