How to Stay Focused During a Long Softball Season
Softball season is a marathon, not a sprint. While the excitement of opening day fuels motivation, the long stretch between February and June can feel overwhelming. Fatigue, mental exhaustion, and burnout become real challenges. Staying locked in and pushing through the tough moments is what separates great players from the rest.
To help players navigate this journey, I spoke with Lea Wodach, a two-time national champion at Oklahoma (2016-2017) and current pitching coach at the University of Louisiana Monroe. Her insights offer practical and inspiring strategies for maintaining focus and motivation throughout the season.
