Happy 4th of July from the Staff at Extra Inning Softball!

To everyone across the country—and even the world, as we have readers globally!—we would like to wish everyone a safe, happy and healthy Independence Day 2020!

The 4^th of July means we’re in the heart of the summer and we hope there’s a lot more softball to be played, but whatever happens we will continue to tell stories, profile top players and teams, compile rankings and let you know what’s going on in the softball community!

On a personal note, I know there’s a lot that’s problematic in our country these days—including the COVID-19 pandemic and the social unrest and injustices that impacts us all—and I optimistically look to the day that these issues can be resolved to the betterment of all.

Still, there’s a lot of great things we can appreciate and celebrate in our nation and, as one who has lived overseas while serving as a church missionary, I am grateful for the freedoms and opportunities we do have and enjoy on a daily basis.

May you all have a wonderful 4^th of July weekend with whatever you desire most: softball, family, friends, great food, fireworks, celebration of faith and blessings and much, much more!
