Nicki Whitten is transforming softball coaching with her relentless dedication, high expectations, and passion for developing athletes. As the head coach of the Hernando Tigers at Hernando High School, she is shaping the future of her players in just a short time. Macie Dever Boaz, a member of the 2026 Extra Inning Softball Commit Crew, wanted to highlight her coach for this Coach Spotlight, recognizing Whitten’s ability to push athletes beyond their limits while fostering a culture of trust and accountability.
