
Fastpitch Fan Pick: Vote NOW!
The Fastpitch Fan Pick for the Class of 2029 Extra Elite 100 #5-1 is officially live. This exciting addition allows the softball community to have some fun and vote on who they think should be the top five players at each position. While the Extra Elite 100 rankings are determined by the Extra Inning Softball Rankings Committee, this friendly competition gives fans a chance to weigh in and show their support for their favorite players.
For three days only, fans can watch video highlights of the top five players in each position and cast their votes in the Dugout Discussions Polls at Extra Inning Softball. Voting open Saturday, March 22 and closes Monday, March 24 at 10pm EST. Fans can vote every four hours.
How the Fastpitch Fan Pick Works
The Fastpitch Fan Pick is a fun, interactive way for the softball community to celebrate the talent in the Extra Elite 100. We have already announced players ranked 100 through 6, and now it’s time for fans to weigh in. Before Extra Inning Softball reveals the official #5-1 rankings, the community can vote on who they think deserves the top spot at each position.
Voting begins TODAY and closes on Monday night at 10PM EST, giving the community the weekend to participate. The Fastpitch Fan Pick winners are announced on Tuesday, followed by the official Extra Inning Softball Top 5 rankings on Wednesday.
The player receiving the highest number of votes will be designated as the Fastpitch Fan Pick #1, with subsequent positions assigned based on descending vote counts. This process offers fans an exciting opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge outstanding talent in the sport.

Madelyn Benzler represented Region 10 at the USA 12U All American Games, showcasing her skills on a national stage. She also played a key role in helping her team finish as runner-up at the PGF 12U Premier Nationals, proving herself among the elite in her class.

Alivia Ramon is a standout two-way player hitting .545 with 8 home runs while posting a 1.269 ERA and 144 strikeouts in 29 appearances. A 12U USA All American and Championship winner, she also earned honors as a USSSA Pitching Velocity Champion and All America Derby Home Run Champion. Off the field, Ramon excels academically in Pre-AP classes and gives back through community service, including leading a food drive for Sealy Christian Ministries.

Rylee Swilley has earned national recognition both on and off the field, including being named to the AFON and Ray Seymour All-Tournament Teams. A PGF Premier Finalist and member of the U13 USA Softball National Team, Swilley also excels in academics and community service, volunteering at local nursing homes and mentoring Little League athletes.

Isabella Villarreal was named 2024 Pitcher of the Year for Aces Fastpitch. Known for her impressive 70 mph exit velocity and a strong pitching arsenal that includes a fastball, changeup, rise, and drop, she brings power and precision to the circle. Villarreal also excels academically, earning AB honors and placing 2nd in the Beta recycled arts competition.

Maddi White was dominant in the circle during the PGF National Championship, leading her team to victory as the winning pitcher. She finished the tournament with a perfect 0.00 ERA, showcasing her ability to shut down elite competition when it mattered most.

Porter Butler had an impressive year, earning Defensive Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, and MVP honors. A multi-sport athlete, she plays soccer for her middle school and competed on the junior varsity softball team as an eighth grader, showcasing her talent and versatility.

Abby Denton earned 1st Team All Alliance honors at the National Championship Series, showcasing her impact on the national stage. She played a key role in helping her team win the Triple Crown World Series and secure a top-five finish at Alliance Nationals.

Laila Mejia is a true standout in both academics and athletics, maintaining Honor Roll status and excelling in advanced coursework, including high school math as an eighth grader. On the field, she’s earned national attention with invites to HPP, S30 Select, and multiple Division I prospect camps. In track, Mejia is a consistent top finisher in shot put, discus, and long jump, while also holding the #1 PGF Metrics pop time across all age groups.

Elle Osborne is a standout student-athlete with a 4.0 GPA and a long list of accomplishments across multiple sports. She broke 12-year-old school records in the 220yd and 440yd, won her local Turkey Trot and triathlon two years in a row, and still finds time to volunteer training youth players. An extreme skier and avid surfer, Osborne has even taken on Double Black Diamond runs and surfed at Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch.

Chloe Wade earned spots on the All Metro Tournament Team for Berry Middle School and received All County Honorable Mention recognition playing for Spain Park High School. Off the field, she serves as the Student Council Administrative Liaison, demonstrating leadership in both academics and athletics.

LG Goldin is a multi-sport athlete who excels both on and off the field. She ranks #2 in Georgia for the 100-meter and holds the top spot in the long jump. Outside of athletics, Goldin gives back by volunteering with children in need at Buford First Baptist Church.

Trinity Hargrett was named a Top Performer at the 2024 USA Softball HPP National Event, ranking among the top 18 in the nation. She earned MVP and Best Offensive Player honors for Northgate High School JV and continues to excel across multiple sports, including basketball and track. Off the field, Hargrett gives back as a school ambassador and volunteer, making an impact in her community as well as on the diamond.

Hartley Hurt has made waves as a standout athlete, earning selection to the USA Softball National HPP Event and recognition as Georgia Middle School Defensive Player of the Year. She was also named MVP of her school basketball team and helped lead her middle school feeder program to an undefeated championship season. A USA Softball All-American in her first year of 12U, Hurt continues to rise as a top-tier competitor.

Audrey Iwai is a proven winner on the national stage, earning two PGF National Championships and reaching the PGF Nationals finals three times. Her consistent performance at the highest level makes her one of the most accomplished players in her class.

Taylor Woitalewicz is a standout athlete and scholar, earning back-to-back Offensive MVP honors at the All American Games and helping her team win the 12U USA All American Championship. A top performer in multiple sports, she plays A Team basketball, volleyball, and soccer while excelling in advanced AP classes and National Junior Honor Society. Woitalewicz also gives back to her community through food drives and leadership in AAU basketball.

Davaeh Crawford, an eighth-grade outfielder for Batbusters Stith 18U, consistently competes against top high school talent nationwide. Originally from the Bay Area, she has dominated in both NorCal and SoCal and recently gained attention from top Division I programs. Off the field, Crawford is the co-founder of DreamChasersNeverSleep, a nonprofit promoting women’s empowerment through athletics.

Kendall Glass is a three-sport athlete who shines in basketball, softball, and volleyball. Beyond her own success, she gives back by offering hitting lessons to younger players, showing leadership both on and off the field.

Nicole Gooden is a multi-talented student-athlete who has earned MVP honors in both 7th and 8th grade softball, following an Offensive Player of the Season award in 6th grade. A straight-A student and leader at school, she’s received accolades including the Science, Citizenship, and Leadership Awards, and is a longtime Jr. Beta Club member. Off the field, Gooden volunteers at Fellowship Christian summer camps and holds a black belt in Taekwondo, showing her dedication and discipline across all areas of life.

This fan-driven event allows the softball community to have fun, engage with top athletes, and celebrate the sport. While the Fastpitch Fan Pick results do not impact the official Extra Elite 100 rankings, it is an exciting way to recognize and support the top players in each position.
The competition gives players a chance to share their highlights, connect with fans, and enjoy the experience of being a part of something bigger. It is a lighthearted way to get involved in the excitement leading up to the Extra Elite Top 5 reveal.
