Anna Sidlowski recently began her first year as a student-athlete at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.
The right-handed pitcher from Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania first committed in the summer going into her senior year at Garnett Valley High School.
During her final season, she recorded 572 strikeouts and an impressively-low ERA of 0.99. Anna played club ball for the Mystics National (Garrett) and was named All-Delco Softball Player of the Year her senior year.
“Coach Joe Ausanio came to see me play in New Jersey. We kept in contact and I received an offer to visit the campus,” Anna shared. “The minute I arrived on campus I knew that I wanted Marist to be my home for the next four years. My heart was set on the program, campus, and academics.”
Though she is currently undecided on a major, Anna is exploring the different areas of study available to her at Marist.
“I am super excited to join such a strong and well-run program with amazing teammates and coaches,” commented the player when asked what she is looking forward to this year. “I am so grateful for my parents, coaches, and teammates who helped make this dream come true. The school has so much to offer and I couldn’t be more blessed to have the opportunity to play here for my college career.”
