MVP PLAYER
* Madilynn George, 1B, 2025, United 16U – Robertson
Madilynn’s nickname is “Maddog” and she showed her toughness and tenacity when she rolled her ankle at the Colorado IDT tourney and, despite having a bad ankle sprain, taped it up and hit a pair of home runs in the following game and a total of six at the event. She also smacked three home runs at the PGF National Championships in the Premier Bracket. The lefty is a pure power hitter who hits for a high average and is athletic too. This summer, she batted .600 with 18 total home runs, had a 1.35 slugging percentage and a 1.792 OPS. At the high school level, she was an Extra Inning Softball All-American and was a TSWA 1st Team All-State honoree. For this upcoming year, she’ll play with the Texas Blaze United 18U team.

United Head Coach Cory Robertson begins: “Blakely has a one-of-a-kind demeanor on the mound and is one of the best teammates out there and has a lot of great things going for her.” She throws in the lower-to-mid 60’s with a dominating rise ball and this summer she threw 51 innings and had 60’s. Named No. 43 overall in the 2025 Extra Elite 100 previously, Blakely also had 200-plus strikeouts for her Rouse (Georgetown, Texas) High team and at one point was the Extra Inning Softball Player of the Week. The 5-foot-7 righthander carries a 4.78 GPA and was selected 1st Team All District (25-5A).
* Brooke Beam, 2025, P, Atlanta Vipers 16U Gold – Tamborra
One of a good corps of pitchers for the Vipers (now called the Athletics) over the summer, Brooke started 24 games and pitched 106.2 innings for the team which advanced twice to national championship games. “Brooke is the epitome of ‘grit’ on the mound,” says Head Coach Stacy Tamborra, and she always wants the ball in the big game.
