Holly Beth Brooks, a talented catcher and utility player for the Fury Platinum X Hutchins/Helton, has announced her commitment to continuing her academic and athletic career at the University of Alabama, starting in the fall of 2025.
A local to Tuscaloosa, Holly Beth has attended hitting lessons with Alabama Softball legend, Leona Lafaele-Frazier for more than seven years. The infielder who led the SEC squad in home runs during her senior year has served as an athlete to model her craft after for Holly Beth, who grew up dreaming of donning a crimson jersey herself one day.
“She was a tremendous help in recruiting process!” shared Holly Beth. “She’s always been a role model for me as well. And now we will be apart of BAMAU together!
Presently a junior, Holly Beth attends Tuscaloosa County High School, where she has served as the starting catcher since 9th grade. This past year, the athlete helped her team to a 7A Area 5 Championship—only having two passed balls in 282 innings of work—and she was 2nd in the state for runners caught stealing.
