Kassidy King: Building Strength and Leadership Through the Game

Kassidy King, a 2027 pitcher/outfielder from Sage Creek High School (Carlsbad, CA) and member of Breakers Labs Keusch/Guzman, shared why softball is her foundation for confidence and leadership. A key moment came as her team punched its ticket to the PGF Premier National Championship—a moment she described as validation for her relentless effort.

King’s mindset centers on balance and belief. She’s committed academically and athletically, and she’s inspired by role models like Teagan Kavan, whose leadership and resilience echo her own goals. Her journey reflects how purpose and passion intersect to fuel drive.

Addie Rochelle: Courage Beyond the Injury

Addie Rochelle of Hernando High School (Class of 2028) turned a scoliosis diagnosis and spinal fusion surgery into an inspiring comeback story. Despite missing seventh-grade tryouts, she approached her recovery with focused determination—refusing to let setbacks define her.

With unwavering support from family and teammates, Rochelle returned to competition stronger than ever. Her experience underscores how adversity reveals strength and builds character both on and off the field.

Faith Mayfield: Rising with Purpose from South Texas

Freshman luminary Faith Mayfield was the Class of 2028 standout we spotlighted for July. Representing Bombers Gold 16U National and O’Connor High School in San Antonio, she delivered in her first varsity season—earning District MVP, All-District First Team, and All-Tournament honors at the Alliance Fastpitch Championship.

Balancing academics and elite performance, Mayfield showcases leadership, maturity, and an early commitment to both growth and excellence—qualities that mirror the mission of Voices from the Field.

O’Connor High School’s Faith Mayfield was named District 28-6A Most Valuable Player as a freshman, earning the honor for her impact at the plate and in the circle.
