The spring high school softball season has officially begun with many states having started the 2024 season in February and March.
Throughout the spring softball season Extra Inning Softball will be recognizing the outstanding achievements of players from across the country.
Nominations for Extra Inning Softball National High School Player of the Week can be submitted HERE.
Beginning on Feb. 14, 2024, Extra Inning Softball will be selecting a National High School Player of the Week every week through May 31, 2024. Nominations will be accepted through Monday each week and nominations should include relevant statistical information for games played during the previous week and photographs.

Extra Inning Softball National High School Player of the Week
After an outstanding week at the plate and in the circle, Kaitlynn Robertson has been selected as the Extra Inning Softball National High School Player of the Week. Robertson plays for Orange Beach High School in Orange Beach, Ala.
Robertson helped lead Orange Beach to a 7-0 week as the Makos outscored their opposition 90-2 over the seven games.
For the week, Robertson went 13-for-19 and posted a .684 batting average. She had five doubles and a home run among her 13 hits on the week.
In the circle, Robertson picked up a pair of wins and pitched 7.0 innings and struck out eight batters. She allowed just five hits and one run in her time in the circle.
With the seven victories, Orange Beach improved to 18-0 on the season. The Makos are ranked No. 2 in the nation by SBLive Sports and No. 5 by MaxPreps.
Robertson also plays for SoCal Marinakis/Ammon SE Premier 2025 and has committed to Louisiana Christian University.
Other Top Performances:
Kyla Jobe, Greeneville High School, Greenevlle, Tenn. – Jobe had an outstanding week helping lead Greeneville High School to a 5-2 week. She batted .684 (13-for-19) and had five doubles, a triple and two home runs. She went 2-for-3 with a walk-off home run in a win over Clairborne and also batted .692 over five games at the East Tennessee Classic.
Alissa Snipes, Pleasant Valley High School, Chico, Calif. – Snipes helped lead Pleasant Valley to a pair of victories at the Stephanie LeDoux Tournament. The Vikings defeated Bella Vista 10-1 and ended Capital’s 14-game winning streak. She batted .800 in the two games and also earned two victories in the circle. Snipes pitched 7.2 innings, allowed just one hit and one run and struck out 12 batters.
