On the Clock: 2026 Extra Elite 100 Player Rankings to Launch 2 Weeks From Today! Deadline to Nominate Players is This Sunday

The 2026 Extra Elite 100 rankings are getting closer every day; they will launch on March 21, 2022—two weeks from today!

The nomination deadline to submit players for consideration is this Sunday, March 13 @ 5 pm!

The three weeks of coverage for the class will include:

• the 2026 Extra Elite 100 ranked prospects with bios and photos
• the players ranked #’s 101-500
• a spotlight on the top player in the class
• position rankings (pitchers, catchers, infielders, outfielders)

The rankings are led by Brentt Eads, Extra Inning Softball’s President & Executive Editor, along with members of the Extra Inning Softball staff as well as input from more than 250 college and club scouts and coaches.

Brentt, who originated the top 100 rankings lists used in softball, has now ranked 14 grad classes (2014 to 2027) and, with updates of each, will have done more than 36 class rankings!

If you would like to submit a player to be nominated, Click HERE to fill out our online form.

Or email us at [email protected] and send us the following (as applicable): player name, position(s), club team, school, home city/state, stats, honors, individual and team accomplishments, events attended such as camps, human interest insights (anything interesting, unusual or different) and a head shot (if available, a good action photo also).

Submit info no later than 5 PM EST Sunday, March 13 to ensure athletes are considered before the lists are finalized… and also don’t forget that this Sunday is the start of Daylight Savings Time when we “Spring Forward” and move our clocks up an hour!
