Pete D’Amour Releases Virginia Tech Fall Schedule

BLACKSBURG, Va. – Head Coach Pete D’Amour and the Virginia Tech softball team have announced their 2023 fall schedule. The Hokies will begin their fall season in Salem, Va., against Fayetteville Tech on Saturday, Sept. 23 at noon followed by a trip to Haymarket, Va., to take on Bowie State on Sunday, Sept. 24 also at noon.

Following the two away games, Tech will host UVA-Wise on Sept. 28, Concord Sept. 29, the Virginia Tech Club Softball Team Oct. 13, Wingate Oct. 15, and Tusculum Oct. 20 at Tech Softball Park and admission is free.

The Hokies are coming off the 2023 season with a 39-20 record where they appeared in the Athens Regional in the 2023 NCAA Softball Tournament. Tech set a program record for most home runs in a season going yard 100 times.

Virginia Tech returns four all-conference players including Bre Peck, Cameron Fagan, Emma Ritter and pitcher Emma Lemley. The Hokies also add 12 newcomers who are eager to make an impact.
