
Bradenton, Fl. – NFCA All-American and University of Oklahoma standout, Falepolima Aviu, has signed to play with the Florida Vibe for the Summer 2022 season.
Aviu is the third signee, and the second Sooner, to commit to the Vibe.

On August 23, 2021, the Florida Vibe was announced as the newest pro softball team and former Oklahoma pitcher Shannon Saile was presented on Sept. 11 as the program’s first signee.
Last Friday (Sept. 17), the team announced from its headquarters in Bradenton, Florida that Kendyl Lindaman, the former standout at the University of Florida, had been signed as the team’s second roster player.
“I am grateful for this opportunity to play for the Florida Vibe professional fastpitch team,” stated Aviu. “This is an exciting time for softball and all of its amazing fans from across the country.”
“To be given this platform to inspire the next generation of athletes is an absolute privilege. I look forward to working with the Vibe organization in our dedication to growing this sport.”
Aviu claimed many accolades throughout her career including being a two-time National Champion, making four WCWS appearances and being a four-time Big XII champion.
Last summer, the Sooner outfielder great was announced as being hired by Ole Miss to be a Graduate Manager.
