The launch of the FINAL 2022 Extra Elite 100 begins 1 week from today: on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021.
Note, however, that the deadline for player nominations to be sent in by club coaches is midnight EST on Thursday, October 7, 2021 and will be strictly adhered to!
Because of scheduling deadlines, including getting results to university SID’s, all information—including player data, scouting evaluations, results and photos— MUST BE SENT IN before the deadline!
This will be the FINAL rundown for this great senior class and, for three weeks, will include:
- the 2022 Extra Elite Top 100-ranked prospects with bios and photos
- the players ranked #’s 101-500,
- a spotlight on the top player in the class
- position rankings: pitchers, catchers, infielders, outfielders
- the top college recruiting classes
IMPORTANT! These final senior rankings are timed to end a week before the Fall Signing Day of Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021 as the College Class Recruiting Rankings will be used by universities in their signing press releases.
The rankings are led by Brentt Eads, Extra Inning Softball’s President & Executive Editor, and the Extra Inning Softball staff with input from more than 300 college and club scouts and coaches.

CLUB COACHES: to submit a player or players to be nominated, send us relevant stats, honors, individual and team accomplishments, recruiting news (signings, trips, contacts, etc.), human interest insights and a head shot and, if available, a good action photo.
The are two ways to for travel ball coaches to nominate players:
