STARKVILLE – Mississippi State softball will play eight exhibition games this fall, all at home, with the first set for Friday, Sept. 15. Last year, MSU played all of its fall games on the road while the Softball Fieldhouse adjacent to Nusz Park was under construction.
The Bulldogs start off with a doubleheader on Friday, Sept. 15, playing Wallace State CC at 4 p.m. CT and Jones College at 6 p.m. Wallace State and Jones will play each other prior to the MSU games at 2 p.m.
The next weekend, the Bulldogs will play Bevill State CC on Sept. 22 at 6 p.m.
In October, the Bulldogs will host another doubleheader. State will first play Chipola College at 4 p.m. and then Copiah-Lincoln CC at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6. Fans are invited to enjoy guided tours of the new Fieldhouse during these games. The two visiting teams will once again go head-to-head at 2 p.m. before playing MSU.
To close out the fall season, the Bulldogs will host Mississippi College on Friday, Oct. 13 at 6 p.m. before a doubleheader the following. State will first play Middle Tennessee at 2 p.m. and Pearl River CC at 4 p.m. with the two opponents meeting previously at noon.
