Sport-Specific Training

Sport-specific training is a huge buzzword today. People tend to think that sport-specific training involves using equipment from the sport and integrating it into the weight room, or performing endless balance drills with tasks that require completion. This is simply unnecessary “guru”-type training that does the athlete a disservice and wastes the parents’ money. What the athlete truly needs is a sports-performance program built to enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) in their sport.
