More than 100 teams from across the Southeast gathered in Alabama for one of the premier summer showcase events of the travel softball season as the Stars Over Alabama Showcase hosted by DC Elite Productions, brought together top talent in the 14U, 16U, and 18U divisions.
Following another highly competitive weekend, Extra Inning Softball has released its Tournament Performance Rankings, recognizing athletes whose verified performances stood above the rest throughout the event. How Tournament Performance Rankings Are Evaluated
Extra Inning Softball’s Tournament Performance Rankings are designed to recognize verified on-field performance rather than season-long accomplishments. Each athlete is evaluated through a comprehensive review of verified offensive and defensive statistics, performance against quality competition, consistency throughout both pool and bracket play, overall impact on team success, positional excellence, and team advancement during the tournament.
Every submission undergoes an additional verification and evaluation process before the final rankings are published, helping ensure each athlete’s recognition is based on accurate data, measurable performance, and a consistent evaluation process.
The SERV Methodology
Extra Inning Softball utilizes its proprietary SERV evaluation methodology throughout the Tournament Performance Rankings process.
SERV stands for:
- Software — Proprietary systems used to organize and track athlete performance data.
- Evaluate — Position-specific skill analysis and measurable production.
- Research — Cross-checking competition level and verified performance.
- Verify — Confirming submitted information through multiple data sources before publication.
This process helps ensure every recognition is based on verified achievement and objective evaluation.

14U Champions
The 14U division featured competitive games throughout the weekend, culminating in a championship performance by Team Mississippi Select. Their consistent play, timely hitting, and strong execution earned them the Stars Over Alabama Showcase 14U title.
14U Top Performers
Macey Estridge delivered one of the most complete performances of the weekend, earning No. 1 Overall, No. 1 Hitter, and No. 1 Outfielder honors in the 14U division.
Representing Team Mississippi Select, Estridge consistently impacted the game with her offensive production, defensive play in the outfield, and ability to perform in key moments. Her all-around excellence and leadership throughout the tournament made her the top-ranked performer in the 14U field.
Addison Baggett turned in one of the top defensive performances of the weekend to earn the No. 1 Infielder honor in the 14U division.
Representing Alabama Rebels 14U, the Class of 2030 standout showcased outstanding consistency at third base and middle infield, pairing flawless defense with a .688 batting average during the Stars Over Alabama Tournament.
Off the field, Baggett brings a unique personality to the game, walking up to the plate to “Great Balls of Fire” by Jerry Lee Lewis—a nod to her love of 1950s music and culture.
Cara Webb earned No. 1 Catcher honors in the 14U division after showcasing a strong all-around performance behind the plate throughout the Stars Over Alabama Tournament.
Representing TN Mojo Roberts, Webb provided steady leadership for her pitching staff while making a consistent impact defensively and offensively. Her poise, game management, and ability to contribute in key situations helped distinguish her as the tournament’s top-ranked catcher.
Sarabeth Moeller earned No. 1 Pitcher/Hitter honors in the 14U division after making an impact on both sides of the ball throughout the Stars Over Alabama Tournament.
Competing for TN Mojo Roberts, Moeller excelled in the circle while also providing offensive production at the plate, demonstrating the versatility and consistency that define an elite two-way player. Her well-rounded performance made her one of the tournament’s most valuable contributors.
16U Champions
After navigating a talented 16U field, Fury Platinum National – Rooker emerged as tournament champions, combining timely offense with strong defensive play to capture the Stars Over Alabama Showcase championship.
16U Top Performers
Layla McBryar earned No. 1 Overall, No. 1 Hitter, and No. 1 Infielder honors in the 16U division after delivering a dominant all-around performance at the Stars Over Alabama Tournament.
Competing for Alabama Thunderbolts Burke, the Class of 2029 standout made an impact on both sides of the ball with her offensive production, defensive versatility, and consistent play throughout the weekend.
Away from the diamond, McBryar is a standout three-sport athlete who also competes in basketball and volleyball while maintaining a 4.4 GPA, showcasing the work ethic and discipline that fueled her tournament success.
Lori Edgar earned No. 1 Catcher honors in the 16U division after turning in a standout performance behind the plate throughout the Stars Over Alabama Tournament.
Representing Indy Dreams Roark/Streeval, Edgar showcased strong defensive skills, leadership, and the ability to manage the game while contributing offensively when her team needed it most. Her consistency, poise, and all-around impact made her the tournament’s top-ranked catcher.
Baylee Scott earned No. 1 Outfielder honors in the 16U division after delivering a standout defensive performance throughout the Stars Over Alabama Tournament.
Competing for Birmingham Mustangs 2027, the Class of 2028 standout consistently made plays in the outfield while contributing offensively and helping her team compete at a high level.
A quiet leader with a team-first mentality, Scott lets her play speak for itself—and as a fun personal touch, she lets her teammates choose her walk-up songs, whether they’re serious or designed to get everyone laughing.
Avery LaPorte earned No. 1 Pitcher/Hitter honors in the 16U division after excelling both in the circle and at the plate throughout the Stars Over Alabama Tournament.
Representing TN Bombers Gold – Ghee, the Class of 2028 standout showcased the versatility and consistency of an elite two-way player, making an impact in every phase of the game.
Off the field, LaPorte is also a basketball player, using the winter season to stay competitive and continue developing her athleticism, a trait that complements her success on the softball diamond.

18U Champions
The tournament’s oldest division showcased high-level softball from start to finish, but it was Birmingham Mustangs 2026 that finished the weekend as champions, combining timely offense with solid defense throughout their Stars Over Alabama Showcase championship run.
18U Top Performers
Jaley Young earned No. 1 Overall and No. 1 Pitcher/Hitter honors in the 18U division after delivering a dominant two-way performance throughout the Stars Over Alabama Tournament.
Representing the Birmingham Mustangs, Young made a significant impact both in the circle and at the plate, helping lead her team to the tournament championship with consistent, high-level play. Her ability to influence the game in multiple ways and rise to the occasion against quality competition made her the top overall performer of the weekend.
Riley Bracken earned No. 1 Hitter honors in the 18U division after putting together an outstanding offensive performance throughout the Stars Over Alabama Tournament.
Competing for AP Gold Brogdon/Branch, Bracken consistently produced at the plate with timely hits and an ability to spark her team’s offense against quality competition. Her disciplined approach and offensive consistency made her the tournament’s top-ranked hitter.
Nevaeh Tarr earned No. 1 Outfielder honors in the 18U division after delivering a standout performance throughout the Stars Over Alabama Tournament.
Representing Florida Elite, the Class of 2028 standout made a consistent impact defensively while contributing offensively against quality competition.
Off the field, Tarr brings plenty of personality to the game, walking up to the plate to “Night Shift” by Jon Pardi, a song she says perfectly reflects who she is.
Cameron Greene earned No. 1 Infielder honors in the 18U division after showcasing exceptional defensive consistency throughout the Stars Over Alabama Tournament. Representing EC Bullets Greene, Greene anchored the infield with reliable glove work, strong instincts, and the ability to make key plays in crucial moments while also contributing offensively. Her complete performance and steady presence on the field made her the tournament’s top-ranked infielder.

The Tournament Performance Rankings represent just one of the many ways Extra Inning Softball highlights verified achievement throughout the travel softball season.
As additional events are evaluated and new recognition opportunities become available, athletes will continue to earn exposure through performance-based initiatives that celebrate consistency, competition, and measurable success.
The spotlight now turns to the next generation of talent as Class of 2030 Regional and National Athlete Rankings nominations officially open on July 24. Young athletes will have the opportunity to begin their national rankings journey through Extra Inning Softball’s comprehensive evaluation process.
