Starting One Week From Today: 2020 Extra Elite 100 Player Rankings & Extra Elite Eighty 18U Club Rankings!

One week from today it’s a club player and team rankings bonanza as Extra Inning Softball kicks off our final 2020 Extra Elite 100 player rankings as well as the Extra Elite Eighty 18U club ratings.

Coaches: please have information sent to us no later than this Wednesday, Oct. 16 at midnight EST.

2020 Extra Elite 100 Schedule & Info to Send:

This will be the final rankings for the current senior class and will highlight where they’ll be signing starting on Nov. 13, 2019–the first day of the National Letter of Intent Signing Period–and will include:

• the 2020 Extra Elite 100 top-ranked prospects
• the players ranked #’s 101-500
• a spotlight on the top player in the 2020 class
• the final Top College Recruiting Rankings list which will reveal which DI programs had the highest-ranked classes!

To compile these rankings, we will be in touch with more than 250 club and college scouts and coaches nationwide.

If you would like to submit a nomination, send us as much of the following as possible:

• player name
• hometown, state
• position(s)
• club team/head coach
• player stats & honors (as available)
• key individual and team accomplishments,
• why the player should be ranked (“scouting report” or evaluation of strengths),
• recruiting news (verbals, trips, contacts, etc.)
• human interest insights (example: dad played in the NFL, player is all-state in basketball, etc.)
• head shot of player or where to find one
• optional: a good action photo

Extra Elite Eighty 18U Club Rankings Schedule & Info to Send:

This team-centered rankings will feature the highest age division in travel ball, the 18U programs.

Each of the top 50 teams will have a bio with information including top accomplishments from last year, key returners, new pickups and strengths of the program.

We are looking for the following info for team submissions:

• top results last year (summer, fall and/or entire year)
• team record (if you know it… from summer, over last year or this fall so far)
• fall and/or 2020 schedule (where you have or will playing… showcases, tourneys, nationals)
• key returners (list grad year and positions if possible)
• key pick-ups
• top players lost (graduation, moved to other teams, etc.)
• team strengths (hitting, pitching, defense, speed, etc.… give details/examples)
• any relevant recruiting info (players committed or being heavily recruited)
• ROSTER & PHOTO(S):
• if available, send a team roster—like a brochure or link to a webpage with a roster
• forward a team photo and/or individual player pics (please ID player photos!)

Here’s the schedule of the Extra Elite Eighty 18U Club Rankings starting two weeks from today:

• Mon. Oct. 21, 2019: Teams #’s 50-41
• Tues. Oct. 22, 2019: Teams #’s 40-31
• Wed. Oct. 23, 2019: Teams #’s 30-21
• Thu. Oct. 24, 2019: Teams #’s 20-11
• Fri. Oct. 25, 2019: Teams #’s 10-1
• Sat. Oct. 26, 2019: Teams #’s 51-80

These rankings will feature the elite teams projected to have the best chance to win tournaments this fall as well as nationals next summer.

Over the next year, Extra Inning Softball will also feature Extra Elite Eighty Club Rankings covering the 16U, 14U, 12U and 10U age divisions.
