Returners:

  • Macartney Angel, (2025, P/1B, controls hitters with her off-speed pitches when she is on the mound and very versatile playing multiple positions on the defensive side of the ball)
  • Gracie Helton (2025, 3B, the voice of the team. She is as solid as it comes on the hot corner and finds the gaps on the offensive side of the ball. Clutch, pressure-filled moments are no problem for Gracie)
  • Anne Marie Richards (2025, C, part of the power in the middle of the lineup with solid fundamentals, can hit the long ball or drive the gap. Very high IQ behind the plate with a nose for the ball and compliments her pitchers well)
  • Madeline Flammia (2025, 2B, brings speed and power to the table. She can turn a single into a double or use her power and hit it out. Her unwillingness to be beat sets her apart on the defensive end)
  • Ella Grace Hixon (2025, SS/C, the fastest kid around, she can lay a bunt down, slap it or swing away. She is the ultimate package at the plate because you don’t know what she will do. She can also cover a great amount of room on the defensive side with her speed)
  • Katie Hastings (2025, OF/UT, solid fundamentals in the OF, making all the right reads. She is able to utilize the small game or drive it to the gap on the offensive end with good speed on the bases)
  • Layne Lattimer (2025, OF/3B, the most fierce competitor and a vocal leader on the team. She’s a consistent contributor to the middle of the lineup and has become very versatile on the defensive end with her no-quit skill-set)
  • Kate Chambers (2025, 1B, lock down defender on the right side. With her height, nothing gets over her head and she can pick anything you throw at her. She sets up in the 4/5 hole with her ability to change the game with the long ball)
  • Lillian Mccullough (2025, P/OF, she likes to make the case for pitchers hitting, while she paints spots in the upper 50s with movement on the mound she also drives gaps and has hit the long ball on the offensive end)
  • Lacey Keck (2025, P/OF, as consistent as they come on defense and on the mound. She has a no-worry attitude on the mound, while mixing speed with off-speed, cool and collected)
  • Kylie Norvell (2026, OF, can cover the whole outfield with her ball skills and speed. She is a lock down center fielder. Small ball, slap or swing away are all attributes to her game as a recently converted lefty)
  • Jacie Rice (2025, OF/UT, brings a lot of speed and swagger to the team. She can play any position on the defensive end and a recently converted lefty already hitting bombs with her quick hands)
  • Anna Brewer (2025, P, brings the gas and stays consistent in the lower 60s with a change-up that can make you look silly. Big personality who loves her teammates and only wants to help them succeed).

What will it take for your team to be successful this year?

Being able to actually get on the field.

Who is your No. 1 pitcher and can you describe her skills? Who are the other pitchers on your staff and can you describe their skills?

We are very unique and diversified in our rotation. We have the two righties, Lillian McCullough can dominate the zone and stays consistent in the upper 50s with movement. Anna is straight gas with movement and consistent in the upper 50s to low 60s. Our two lefties are Mac Angel and Lacey Keck. They both command the zone and have the off-speed factor keeping hitters off balance.

Can you describe your offense and what some of the strengths are?

A little bit of everything. We can play small ball, hit the long ball and drive gaps when needed. We are very quick and love to be aggressive on the bases. The top of our lineup is the speedy table setters and the meat of our lineup each had 2-3 HRs in the summer, fall of last year.
