Jenna (right) shares some thoughts with her pitcher.

Tell us about the Mojo program and how you became involved with them?
The Mojo organization is one of the top ones in the country with several greats teams throughout all ages. I previously played for another team in the Mojo organization, but last fall had the opportunity to sub for Coach (Josh) Fisher. I immediately felt at home during our first practice and after two tournaments I knew this is where I wanted to play.

What should we expect from your club team this summer?
I think, as a team, Mojo Fisher, we will be top competitors at every event we go to. I know we all have our minds on the same thing, which is to win a national championship. With our pitching rotation, strong batting lineup and We>Me mentality it’s going to be a fun summer!!

What is something college recruiters should know about you?
I think college recruiters should know that I am a true utility. I have fielded all nine positions on the field and will do or play whatever position is needed of me.

What are you looking for in a future college?
I am looking for a college where I can come in and help make an impact for both the school and the game of softball. I plan to major in something business related.

Do you have a secret talent/skill?
A little bit of a secret talent I have is baking. Ever since I was little, I have been in the kitchen and I love to make treats for other people to enjoy!

What’s your most memorable softball story?
I would have to say my most memorable softball moment was when I was playing in 10U ball and one of my teammates dad said “If anyone hits a grand slam today they can shave my head.” Well later that day I hit my very first over the fence home run which happened to be a grand slam, so later that day I got the razor and shaved half his head at the softball field!

NEWS & NOTES

***Orange Lutheran High coach Steve Miklos picked up his 500th career win when the Lancers scored a 3-1 victory over Esperanza, the defending CIF Southern Section Division 1 champion, in the season opener for both on Saturday in the Savanna Showcase.

Miklos, who has been coaching OLu for 22 years, led the Lancers to CIF-SS titles in 2001 and 2002 and to the finals in 2016.

BTW, P Brianne “Bree” Weiss, #28 in the 2024 Extra Elite 100, got the win and fanned 12; Arkansas-bound 1B Kiki Estrada, #13 in the 2022 Extra Elite 100, went 1 for 3 with an RBI and OF Kai Minor, #17 in the 2025 Extra Elite 100, went 1 for 3 with a run for OLu in the win over Esperanza.

***Auburn-bound P/OF Emmah Rolfe, #16 in the 2022 Extra Elite 100, joined Atlanta Vipers 18U-Tamborra.

Rolfe, a senior at Bob Jones High in Alabama, previously played for Georgia Impact 18U Premier-Lewis.

“I joined the Atlanta Vipers team on January 27th, Rolfe said. “I felt this would be a good move for me during my last summer of travel ball because I wanted to work with Stacy Tamborra. I have a lot of respect for her as a coach and as someone who pitched at the highest level during her career at Florida State.

“I feel that working with Coach Tamborra and my pitching coach, Gary Thomas, will position me to be prepared for the next level at Auburn. This Atlanta Vipers team will be one to watch as they have recruited many top players for this coming summer to include Alexis “Axe” Milanowski (Auburn) and Maia Townsend (LSU).”
