When Bill Conroy started the Beverly Bandits travel program, he had an idea behind it that no one else had and that was to hire college female coaches.
Conroy was the first person in the Midwest to hire female assistant coaches and pay them. He helped mentor some of the very brightest athletes in the game. If there was a Bill Conroy coaching tree, the branches would be endless, as the Bandits were the first NPF team to stake claim in Chicago.Â
Those Coaches and players now have their own children entering the program, making it the ultimate dynasty compiled of 2nd generation ballers. The first crop of next-gen Bandits starts with two cousins seemingly joined at the hip.Â
