The Extra Inning Softball Tournament Performance Rankings are official.
Following a competitive weekend at the Laser Nation HFL Showcase & AFCS Qualifier, held June 12-14, 2026, at Lou Berliner Sports Park in Columbus, Ohio, Extra Inning Softball is proud to announce the latest Tournament Performance Rankings.

Hosted by Select Showcases and event director Mark Skapin, the tournament brought together top teams from the 10U through 18U divisions for one of the summer’s premier national events. Due to weather, the 10U and 12U divisions were impacted by rain and did not complete tournament play.

Extra Inning Softball is excited to unveil the Overall Tournament Performance Rankings leaders from the Laser Nation HFL Showcase & AFCS Qualifier after an action-packed weekend of elite competition.
Following the completion of the submission, evaluation, and verification process, the highest-performing athletes in each age division earned their place atop the leaderboard for their outstanding performances.

12U Laser Nation HFL Showcase
Although the 12U championship bracket was canceled due to inclement weather, standout individual performances throughout the weekend were still recognized through Extra Inning Softball’s Tournament Performance Rankings.

Although the 12U division was impacted by inclement weather, Kyla Adkins of Ohio Lasers 2031 Steed still earned the No. 1 Overall Player and No. 1 Pitcher/Hitter honors. The Class of 2031 standout has consistently excelled on both sides of the ball, throwing over 60 mph while batting above .500. During the 2025 fall Alliance Fastpitch season, she led the HFL 12U division in WHIP and ranked among the top three in batting average.
Adkins credits her dad as her biggest mentor and lives by the motto, “I’ll either find a way or make one.” One of her favorite softball memories is hitting a walk-off home run to win a game, and she takes pride in always supporting her teammates with a positive attitude.

Madison Miller of Ohio Lasers 2031 Steed earned recognition as the No. 1 Catcher at the Laser Nation Showcase. The Class of 2032 standout showcased her defensive leadership and consistent play behind the plate, standing out among a talented group of athletes throughout the weekend.
Miller’s performance demonstrated the poise, communication, and game management that define an elite catcher. Her efforts played an important role in Ohio Lasers Steed’s strong showing and earned her national recognition as the top catcher from the Laser Nation HFL Showcase & AFCS Qualifier.

Karrissa McClatchey of Beverly Bandits Grossman earned No. 1 Infielder honors at the Laser Nation Showcase after a standout weekend. The Class of 2032 middle infielder impressed with her defensive consistency, athleticism, and ability to make game-changing plays, helping establish herself as one of the top young infielders at the event.
McClatchey credits coaches Darren Kincaid and Chris Ford for helping shape her game and believes setting goals each weekend fuels her competitive drive. A straight-A student who also enjoys basketball, she encourages other athletes to stay positive, work hard, and trust that success will follow.


Lyla Doss of Indiana Magic Gold Cuadros earned No. 1 Outfielder honors at the Laser Nation Showcase after an an unforgettable weekend defined by both outstanding play and incredible resilience. After being hit in the face during the tournament and requiring six stitches, the Class of 2032 standout returned to the field to finish the event. Her speed, defensive range, and ability to make momentum-changing plays in the outfield helped her team compete at a high level.
Doss credits her hitting coach, Chaunsey, for transforming both her swing and her mental approach to the game. Guided by the motto, “Don’t think it, feel it,” and Philippians 4:13, she embraces every challenge with confidence. One of her favorite softball memories is making a running catch in the gap that sparked cheers from her teammates and reminded her of the impact every player can make.


Alexah Grossman of Beverly Bandits Grossman earned No. 1 Hitter honors at the Laser Nation Showcase after another impressive performance at the plate. The Class of 2032 standout has established herself as one of the nation’s top young hitters, compiling a remarkable .561 batting average with 157 hits, 71 extra-base hits, and eight home runs during the 2025-26 season.
Grossman credits hitting coach Kenzie Long with helping build her confidence and lives by the motto, “I’m always ready for the challenge.” One of her favorite softball memories came when her team battled back through the loser’s bracket to capture the 11U PGF Super Select Championship, a hard-fought title that wasn’t decided until 1 a.m.
14U Laser Nation HFL Showcase Champions

The 14U division featured competitive play from start to finish, with Turnin 2 National Goleski putting together an impressive championship run. Their consistent performance throughout the weekend culminated in a tournament title, highlighting a roster that delivered in key moments against a talented field of competition.
14U Laser Nation HFL Showcase Leaders

One of Stine’s favorite softball memories came during a 12-pitch at-bat that featured eight foul balls before she launched a game-winning home run. She credits Coach Ryan Goleski for helping shape her mindset and says her older brother’s work ethic continues to inspire her pursuit of playing college softball.


Brynnley Cole of OH Outlaws National Wolff/Shepherd earned No. 1 Pitcher/Hitter honors at the Laser Nation Showcase after delivering one of the weekend’s top all-around performances. Excelling both in the circle and at the plate, Cole consistently impacted games with her ability to shut down opposing hitters while contributing offensively when her team needed it most.
Her two-way performance showcased the versatility and competitive consistency that define elite athletes, earning her recognition as the top pitcher/hitter in the 14U division.


Sophia Shumaker of Outlaws National Wolff/Shepherd earned No. 1 Infielder honors at the Laser Nation Showcase after showcasing outstanding defensive play throughout the weekend. Her consistency, athleticism, and ability to make key plays in the infield helped her stand out among a talented 14U field.
Shumaker’s steady presence on defense and strong overall performance earned her recognition as the top infielder at one of the summer’s most competitive showcase events, highlighting her impact on both her team and the tournament.


Mariah Boyd of IN Magic Gold Coyle claimed No. 1 Outfielder honors at the Laser Nation Showcase with a standout performance that showcased her athleticism and defensive instincts. Whether tracking down fly balls or making timely plays in the outfield, Boyd consistently demonstrated the skills that set her apart from the competition.
Her ability to cover ground, make difficult plays look routine, and contribute to her team’s success earned Boyd recognition as the top outfielder in the 14U division at one of the summer’s premier showcase events.
16U Laser Nation HFL Showcase Champions

The 16U division concluded with Turnin2 Pezz and Thunder Elite Premier Steiner sharing co-champion honors after an impressive weekend of competition. Both teams showcased depth, resilience, and consistent play throughout the tournament, earning championship recognition while competing against one of the strongest fields of the summer.
16U Laser Nation HFL Showcase Leaders

Addison Gillespie of IN Shockwaves Carroll National earned the highest individual honor at the Laser Nation Showcase, being named the No. 1 Overall Player while also claiming No. 1 Outfielder recognition. Her all-around performance and consistent impact throughout the weekend separated her from a talented 16U field, showcasing the complete skill set of an elite athlete.
Whether making game-changing plays in the outfield or contributing offensively, Gillespie consistently delivered in key moments. Her standout weekend earned her national recognition as one of the premier performers at the Laser Nation Showcase.


Kylee Whiting of Impact Caymol McMullen earned No. 1 Pitcher/Hitter honors at the Laser Nation Showcase after putting together one of the weekend’s top two-way performances. Dominant in the circle and productive at the plate, Whiting consistently made an impact in every phase of the game, helping lead her team against a highly competitive 16U field.
Her ability to excel both offensively and defensively showcased the versatility and composure that define an elite all-around athlete. Whiting’s outstanding weekend earned her recognition as the top pitcher/hitter at the Laser Nation Showcase.


Reagen Allen of Firecrackers National Piconke earned No. 1 Catcher honors at the Laser Nation Showcase after an exceptional weekend behind the plate. Her defensive leadership, game awareness, and ability to control the pace of the game helped distinguish her as one of the top catchers in the talented 16U division.
Allen’s steady presence and consistent execution were key factors in her team’s success throughout the tournament. Her performance earned her national recognition as the top catcher at one of the summer’s premier showcase events.


Emmyrson Nottingham of Outlaws Premier Pope earned No. 1 Infielder honors at the Laser Nation Showcase after showcasing outstanding defensive consistency throughout the weekend. Her quick reactions, reliable glove, and ability to make difficult plays in key situations helped separate her from a talented group of infielders in the 16U division.
Nottingham’s poise and defensive presence provided stability for her team while demonstrating the instincts and athleticism that define an elite infielder. Her standout performance earned her recognition as the top infielder at the Laser Nation Showcase.


Macie Murray of Louisville Stunner National earned No. 1 Hitter honors at the Laser Nation Showcase after delivering an outstanding offensive performance throughout the weekend. Consistently producing quality at-bats and timely hits, Murray proved to be one of the most dangerous hitters in the 16U division, creating scoring opportunities whenever she stepped into the batter’s box.
Her ability to drive the offense and perform in key moments helped elevate her team against strong competition. Murray’s impressive weekend earned her recognition as the top hitter at the Laser Nation Showcase.
18U Laser Nation HFL Showcase Champions

The 18U division wrapped up with Ohio Stingrays ’08 and MI Bombers Gold Tighe earning co-champion honors following a highly competitive weekend at Lou Berliner Sports Park. Both programs delivered outstanding performances throughout the tournament, showcasing championship-caliber play and finishing the event as deserving co-champions against a talented 18U field.
18U Laser Nation HFL Showcase Leaders

Kara Lint of OH Outlaws Williams earned the highest individual honor at the Laser Nation Showcase, being named the No. 1 Overall Player in the 18U division. Competing against one of the tournament’s deepest fields of talent, Lint consistently made an impact on both sides of the ball, separating herself with her all-around play and leadership throughout the weekend.
Her ability to deliver in key moments and contribute in every phase of the game made her a standout performer from start to finish. Lint’s exceptional weekend earned her recognition as the top overall player in the 18U division at the Laser Nation Showcase.

More Opportunities Are on the Horizon
The Tournament Performance Rankings are just one of many ways Extra Inning Softball is helping athletes earn national recognition. As the season continues, additional opportunities for exposure are already underway.
Today is the last day to submit for the Rising Stars Futures Watchlist for the Classes of 2031 through 2034. We encourage coaches and parents to submit athletes for evaluation and placement on the national leaderboard, so they can be recognized for their success on the field.

Later this summer, Extra Inning Softball will open nominations for the Class of 2030 Regional and National Athlete Rankings, continuing its mission to recognize standout talent across every stage of the game. From rankings and watchlists to exclusive athlete features and Tournament Performance Rankings, Extra Inning Softball remains committed to providing meaningful exposure that helps athletes gain visibility with college coaches and the softball community.
