USA Softball Looks to Defend Its 2018 Title in Italy
The USA Softball National Team is in Castions di Strada, Italy for the WBSC World Cup Finals. #1 ranked USA leads group A in its search for a record 12th title. The US Women’s National Team won the last edition in 2018 and are the defending World Champions after taking gold at the 2022 World Games. Tokyo 2020 Olympic silver medallists Ally Carda, Rachel Garcia, Haylie McCleney and Dejah Mulipola return with the US national team in their quest to defend their World Title in Italy.
Young stars Sis Bates, Ally Carda, Mia Davidson, Megan Faraimo, Hannah Flippen and Savannah Jaquish who lead USA to victory last year in the group stage all return to help finish the job.
Extra Inning Softball’s very own Jessie Warren will be competing on the USA Women’s National Team in Italy. We are excited to watch her play and represent USA Softball in Italy!
