Introducing Beth Mullins as Head of Player Development for East Cobb Bullets
The East Cobb Bullets are excited to announce Beth Mullins will be joining the program as the Head of Player Development.
“We are so excited to have Beth join our family. Her accomplishments as a collegiate coach, her understanding of data analytics and her passion for player development aligns with our philosophy.” Says JD Heath, one of the new owners of the EC Bullets.
“Beth is a great person and an even better coach. I’m really excited to work with her. “ says Andrew Biele.
“East Cobb is one of the premier clubs in the nation. I’ve known Andrew, JD and Greg (founder Greg Schnute) a long time. When Andrew approached me, I felt it was a great opportunity to do what I love most which is help develop young athletes. When he shared his vision on the program it really aligns with my beliefs. I can’t wait to get started” says Beth Mullins
Background on Beth Mullins
Beth Mullins Coached the Troy Trojans from 2015–2022, she is the second-winningest coach in program history with 208 wins. In 2021, Mullins led the Trojans back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 25 years.
In 2015, Mullins became the first coach in program history to defeat top-10 teams in back-to-back games including victories over three top-25 opponents, earning her Sun Belt Coach of the Year.
Mullins’ teams have advanced to five NCAA Tournaments throughout her coaching career, including all three seasons at Mississippi State.
Prior to her arrival in Starkville, Mullins spent one season at Western Kentucky where the Lady Toppers post the highest batting average in school history. The Lady Toppers also set single-season records for triples, RBIs and slugging percentage.
Mullins also spent two-year stop as an assistant coach at Georgia Southern. During that stint, she helped the Eagles to a Southern Conference Tournament Title and the program’s first NCAA Tournament appearance.
It’s safe to say the East Cobb Bullets got themselves a gem.
