A few weeks ago, Extra Inning Softball unveiled a first-of-its-kind Tournament Performance Rankings (TPR) system designed to increase athlete exposure while bringing objective, event-based evaluations to tournaments across the country. Today, that vision continues to gain momentum.

Following a successful weekend at the Utah Summer Games, Extra Inning Softball has completed its latest Tournament Performance Rankings, recognizing athletes who delivered standout performances throughout the event.

Hosted in Cedar City, Utah, the Utah Summer Games took place June 4-6, 2026, bringing together talented teams and athletes from across the region for one of the summer’s premier softball competitions.

The event provided players with an opportunity to showcase their abilities against quality competition while competing for additional national recognition.

The Tournament Performance Rankings were created to identify and celebrate exceptional individual performances while providing athletes with verified exposure beyond traditional tournament awards. 👉 View the Utah Summer Games leaderboard results.

By combining statistical production with position-specific evaluation criteria, the rankings offer a comprehensive look at player performance throughout the event.

Using Extra Inning Softball’s proprietary SERV Methodology—Software, Evaluate, Research, and Verify—every athlete submission underwent a detailed review process.

Evaluations considered offensive production, defensive performance, pitching results, and position-specific metrics to ensure a complete and objective assessment.

The rankings are designed to reward athletes for their on-field performance while creating meaningful exposure opportunities for players seeking to stand out in an increasingly competitive recruiting landscape.

Through verified evaluations and national visibility, athletes receive recognition for the impact they make during competition.

As the TPR initiative continues to expand nationwide, Extra Inning Softball remains committed to creating innovative opportunities that connect performance with exposure, helping athletes gain recognition while celebrating excellence on the field.

How Tournament Performance Rankings Work

Tournament Performance Rankings were created to recognize athletes based on what they accomplish on the field during competition. Following each participating tournament or showcase, coaches and parents can submit athlete statistics for consideration.

To maintain the integrity and credibility of the rankings process, all submissions must include verified screenshots of event statistics.

Each athlete is evaluated using Extra Inning Softball’s SERV methodology—Software, Evaluate, Research, and Verify. Rankings are not determined by statistics alone.

The evaluation process considers offensive production, defensive performance, pitching results, position-specific impact, and an athlete’s overall contribution throughout the event.

Performances from both pool play and bracket play are reviewed, along with factors such as team success, tournament advancement, and an athlete’s ability to impact games in meaningful situations.

This comprehensive approach helps identify athletes who consistently perform at a high level while contributing to their team’s success.

TPR & High Visibility

As Tournament Performance Rankings continue to expand across the country, Extra Inning Softball remains committed to providing athletes with additional opportunities for exposure through verified, performance-based evaluations.

The rankings create a platform where athletes can be recognized for their accomplishments while giving coaches, recruiters, and fans another valuable tool to identify emerging talent.

The future of athlete exposure continues to evolve, and Tournament Performance Rankings are helping lead the way by rewarding performance where it matters most—on the field. 👉 View the Utah Summer Games leaderboard results.
